The John Lewis Alex cot bed is simple and cheap. If you are looking for a cheap cot bed, then this is a great one to go for. It does not come with a dropside and the mattress base height cannot be changed, however this is the compromise one has to unfortunately make on a budget. Having said that a dropside and base heights are necessary for a great cot bed for your child and are only bonuses.
